Turning stumbling blocks in Steppingstone

I heard this story about this mule who fell in a well, and the farmer said “I might as well cover him with dirt. With every pile of dirt that farmer threw down there, the mule would pack the dirt under his feet and stumped on it. Before long the old mule was out of the well. It is not what is thrown at you. It is what you do with it. It can either kill you or make you stronger. It is your choice of how you deal with it. In playing spades, I sometimes get a bad hand and still make my book. It is how I play the hand that I am dealt with it.
